Our purpose is to make dealflow in Northern Norway accessible, while also aiming to facilitate learning about investments in startups and enabling more people to make their first investment.

The association BAN Arctic has recently been established to inspire and mobilize sustainable investments in Northern Norway. Our purpose is to expand the investor community in Northern Norway by identifying potential and established angel investors, developing expertise, and inspiring how to provide as much practical support as possible to Northern Norwegian startups.
As a member of the association, you'll have access to available deal flow and opportunities to meet with startups and the rest of the innovation community in Northern Norway.

BAN Arctic is driven by voluntary commitment, Innovasjon Norge, and Samfunsløftet. The membership costs are therefore reduced to a minimum to cover the expenses associated with providing a good offering for our members.
The purpose is to provide our members with professional development, meet like-minded individuals, and connect with investment-ready companies. We aim to provide you with the necessary tools for making investments, and course materials will be available whenever possible.
Norway needs many new private jobs in the coming decades to maintain our welfare level.
At the same time, parts of Northern Norway face demographic challenges – outmigration and an increasingly older population – and need new, exciting job opportunities to reverse the trend. One of the most important job creators in Norway is growth companies.
BAN Arctic is an association for existing and prospective investors in startups and growth companies in Northern Norway. We periodically open up opportunities for startups in Northern Norway to present themselves to the network in connection with open investment rounds.
